T O P I C R E V I E Weyes_like_piscesHi everyone!! This is my first time posting in this thread/catagory.I was doing a Little bit of research today on gemstones. I know very little about them and what the signify, or how they're used. Ideally I would like to find one that I can present as a gift to my boyfriend as a symbol of love and commitment. Perhaps even protection, healing, peace good health, trust, and anti-anxiety. So far I've only discovered rohnite and lapids (sorry if that's not anywhere near the correct spelling). The problem is each source seems to claim different usages of the same stones. And I'd rather hear from someone that really knows about stones. So I thought this would be a good place to ask So if anyone here can recommend or suggest the kind of stones I might be interested in and what they mean or even if you just have a reliable/accurate source you use or know of and would like to point me towards, I would thank you very much blueskiez06 eyes_like_piscesHA, Okay Thank you!!!DiplopodaLapis lazuli is more a seer stoneI agree with rose quartzMaybe even emerald or saphireDiamonds as wellEver wonder why they say diamonds are foreverIt is a binding gem the diamond. But, I thought it might be fitting for him, if only it was also associated with live as well (?). On the other hand I would want one that strengthens his abilities in a positive way and not attract the negative. What do you know about emerald stones? I'll stay open minded, because it is more about the meaning than the apperance, but I was hoping to find some that come in more masculine colors. Thus far, I'm leaning towards rose quarts or rohnite. Does anyone know more about Rohnite?EllynlvxThis Post was so Awesome, I bookmarked it! http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum3/HTML/002092.html StawrIn my experience, for love I really like pearls, amber, amethyst, magnisite and garnets.Stawrhmm, and if it's a gift for your guy to signify symbol of love and commitment... Rose quartz and pearls are also known for their feminine energy, and are often recommended for women to wear/place/use if they want to conceive a child.
